After a one-month hiatus, I have decided to relaunch covid19-projections.com. For this new project, I try to estimate the number of true infections in every US state and county. This is a nowcasting model (what has happened/is happening) rather than forecasting model (what will happen). For recommendations of forecasting models, please see my last blog post.

The estimates generated using only confirmed cases and testing data from The COVID Tracking Project. For county-level infection estimates, we use county case data from Johns Hopkins CSSE. See our methodology writeup, Estimating True Infections Revisited. You can download the raw estimates on GitHub.
