I want to take this thread to address something that means a lot to me personally:
The myth of the model minority and why everyone, intentionally or unintentionally, can fall for the myth.
In the face of discrimination & injustice, I’ve always been taught to put my head down and ignore it. But this past year has taught me that this simply isn’t enough. Seeing so many of my peers speak out against inequality and bigotry has inspired me to do the same.
